Admin & operator roles

Operators check keys in and out. Admins manage the key list, staff, and settings. Each person signs in with their own account.

Full audit log & CSV export

Every check-out and return is timestamped and attributed. Search the history and export it to CSV for reports or investigations.

Barcode labels — optional

Key barcodes are not required — the key number is enough. If you prefer to scan, generate proper Code 128 labels for every key straight from the system: print, stick, and scan.

How it works

Three steps from key to record.

The whole handover is a key number, a badge scan, and a confirmation. The record writes itself.

Enter the key number

Type the key number — capital or small letters both work. Tangooos KMS pulls up the key, its location, and whether it's currently in or out. If you use barcode tags, scanning works too.

Scan the staff badge

Scan the employee's ID badge — or pick them from the registered-staff list. The key is checked out to that person.

It's logged for good

The transaction is timestamped, attributed, and saved to your account. On return, one entry closes the loop.

Each organisation's records live in their own isolated account on secure cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest. For sites that require data to stay on their own network, an on-premises deployment is available on request.

Isolated per organisation
Rules enforced on the server mean an account can only ever read and write its own records. No customer can reach another customer's data.
Encrypted end to end
Every connection runs over HTTPS and data is encrypted at rest. Passwords are never stored in readable form.
Available wherever you are
The system is hosted and looked after for you. There is no server to keep running and no machine that has to be switched on for the hub to work.
Only authorised staff
Each organisation signs in with its own account, and an admin PIN gates every sensitive action. Every check-out and return is attributed to a named person.
